WEEKLY BULLETIN – 1st MARCH 2026 (2nd SUNDAY IN LENT)
STATIONS OF THE CROSS are held every Wednesday morning at 9.30am during Lent. Why not come along or go an extra Mass for Lent.
SCIAF WEE BOXES: Please make sure you take a SCIAF Box and give as much as you can during Lent to help with the great work they do in the Missions. Please ask the passkeepers for one.
SAD NEWS: It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Tony Boyle, who was a very faithful parishioner to St. Anne’s. Tony was a Passkeeper for many years and will be remembered by most of you. Tony also worked tirelessly for the St. Vincent De Paul. He will be sorely missed. Please keep Tony and his family in your prayers.
Memorial Mass: Fr William Omatu will be joined by his Nigerian priest friends and Religious on Monday 9th March at 7:00pm in Our Lady of Lourdes Church Cardonald for a Memorial Mass offered for the peaceful repose of the souls of his dearly beloved brothers, Stephen, Collins and Casmir, who were killed in a fire in Nigeria. All welcome.
Mass for the Feast of St Patrick: The annual Mass for the Feast of St Patrick will take place on Saturday 14th March at 10am in St Andrew’s Cathedral. Celebrant Archbishop Nolan. All welcome
Aifreann Gaeilge/ Mass in Irish: Sunday March 15th, 2pm, Blessed John Dun Scotus Church, 270 Ballater St, G5 0YT. Mass will be celebrated by Fr. Brian Ó Fearraigh (Gaoth Dobhair, Dún na nGall) Sandwiches & Tea/Coffee & biscuits in the hall after Mass.
St Margaret of Scotland Youth Group Lenten Adoration and Confessions: Join us in our 50th Anniversary Year on Monday 2nd March at 7pm in Holy Family and St Ninian’s Kirkintilloch for an evening of Eucharistic Adoration with reflection and music, and the opportunity for confessions
ASSISTED DYING BILL: The final vote is expected in March 2026. Please contribute to the final push so that, together we can stop this Bill.
