WEEKLY BULLETIN: 7th DECEMBER 2025 (2nd SUNDAY OF ADVENT)
FEAST OF THE IMMACULATE CONCEPTION: We will be joined by the children from St. Denis’ School at our 10am Mass tomorrow. Please come along and celebrate the Immaculate Conception of the Blessed Virgin Mary.
SPECIAL COLLECTION – CARING SUNDAY: The Second Collection next week will be taken up for St. Nicholas Care Fund which helps people and parishes in need. Please give generously.
Advent Day of Confessions in the Cathedral will take place on Tuesday 16th December. Please take the opportunity to receive the Sacrament of Confession.
HEATING OF THE CHURCH: Due to the high cost of energy, our heating bill has increased considerably. Because of this we are resuming the second collections. When there are no special collections our second collection will be taken up to cover the cost of heating. Thank you to everyone for your kind donations.
Anniversary of the Dedication of St. Anne’s Church (1933) takes place on Wednesday 17th December. Our 10am Mass that day will be offered for this event, and it would be good to have many of our parishioners there.
Centenary Mass: A Centenary Mass to commemorate the Apparitions of Our Lady of Fatima at Ponte Vedra on 10th December 1925 will take place on Wednesday 10thDecember in St Benedict’s, 60 Drumchapel Road, Glasgow G15 6QE at 2 pm. . The church is beside Drumchapel railway station and the number 3 bus terminus. The Mass will be preceded at 1 pm by Exposition of the Most Blessed Sacrament.
FireCloud Nativity 2025: Make the most of Advent by coming to see the Christmas story brought to life in music and drama. Sunday 14th December, 7pm (Doors open 6.30pm) St. Margaret’s Church, Clydebank, G81 1AE. Tuesday 16th December, 7.30pm (Doors open 7.00pm) St. Flannan's Church, Kirkintilloch, G66 2HY.
There will be no Mass or Confession on Friday 12th Dec. as Fr. Leszek has a funeral in Port Glasgow. There will be Liturgy of the Word and Holy Communion at 10am.

Young Adults Christmas Party at St Conval's: Join us for a festive Young Adults Christmas Party on Saturday, 13th December in Saint Conval’s Church Hall. After 5:30pm Mass. A small donation is suggested to help cover costs. All young adults (18+) welcome! Come celebrate with us.
